THE SINGLE PREMIUM INSTALLMENT PLAN

Enjoy all the advantages and convenience of single payment life except that payments are made in installments. This enables you to purchase the larger face amount that you need and want, but avoids the necessity of paying the entire premium in one payment.
And, you avoid interest costs if the loan advanced against the policy cash value, is paid within the specified one or one/two year period.

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS

Plan I--The minimum amount of insurance to qualify for the Installment Plan is $5,000 for age 0-50 male/female; $3,000 for ages 50/55 and over.

Plan II--A $10,000 minimum face amount at issue ages through age 50 male/55 female and $5,000 at issue ages above 50/55.

Repayment of the loan can be made under two options:

    (a) Plan I--the $5,000 plan (2 payments), the insured's initial premium is approximately 60% of the single premium. The balance must be repaid within one year from the issue date to avoid interest expense on the loan.

    (b) Plan II--the $10,000 plan (3 payments), the insured's initial premium is approximately 40% of the single premium. The second payment and balance must be repaid within one and two years from the issue date to avoid interest expense on the loan. The balance of the premium can be paid, by the insured; or in two additional payments, one at the end of one year and one at the end of two years from the issue date.

Once a loan payment plan is selected by the applicant, there can be no change from one plan to the other.

If the insured dies within the initial loan period, depending on which plan is selected (one or two years), the face amount less the unpaid installment amount is paid to the beneficiary. If the insured dies after the initial loan period, the unpaid installment amount, plus interest from the end of the installment period is deducted from the face amount of the policy and paid as a death benefit.
